Living Foods – Add Life Force to Your Diet For Better Health
What’s a living Food? (No, I’m not talking about whatever you find in the rear of the refrigerator!) Probably The simplest definition is that it’s a high vibrational quality. If perhaps we were able to quantify the possible energy (on a subtle level) of a Living Food, it will be full of life-force energy ready to be readily absorbed by the customer.
Around ten years back, I was brought to the idea of Living Books through the task of Charlotte Mason, an early 20th century British educator. The philosophies of her totally changed the approach of mine to homeschooling and how I used books. I’ve found a lot of parallels between feeding our brains on Living Books and nourishing the bodies of ours with a healthy diet of Living Foods.
Mason defined a Living Book as a “whole” book that feeds the spirit on numerous levels. A lot of classic literature fits this particular category as well as books of scripture from all traditions. The hallmark of a Living Book is that it can be read again and again and there’s always something even more to become acquired as well as learned.
Mason termed instruction books which are a waste of time, that do not nourish the soul, as “twaddle.” Kind of like a junk-food version of books. Additionally, few textbooks are able to pass as Living Books because they’re frequently stripped of the story of theirs, leaving merely selected points which are recognized as being crucial.
Living Foods, like Living Books, are whole. Whole foods haven’t been removed of the nutrition of theirs through excessive processing or perhaps by separating out selected equipment and discarding the rest. Just as Living Books have not been stripped of their humanity-their story-and aren’t abridged or perhaps dumbed down. All of the parts of the whole come together synergystically to create something greater.
Living Foods are pleasing to the palate, nose, eyes and even to the ears (think of the sizzle of stir frying steaks or produce on a grill). If you do not enjoy eating it, you do not absorb the health value of the food well. Living Foods aren’t “twaddle” or junk. Fast foods usually are created simply to be appealing and do not have any real vitamins and minerals. Fast foods are frequently subjected to intense industrial processing which destroys most of the nutritients. These usually come in a flashy box or perhaps bag and are greatly marketed.
