Finding God in Everyday Living
A fascinating Midrash relates that in the end of days, as soon as the dead will arise from their graves, G-d will sit in Gan Eden, paradise, and молитва символ веры teach Torah. The righteous will likely be sitting before Him, listening,A each of the angels and heavenly beings will likely be standing around G-d’s right side, sunshine, moon and stars at His left side. G-d will reveal new Torah, never taught before. (The Torah won’t ever change; new parts will be added, and also the original will remain)
John Wesley writes so movingly of his mother’s last hours that is known. From three to four the silver chord was losing and then there is the breaking and the soul was set at liberty. We stood round the bed and fulfilled her last request. “Children, after I am released sing a Psalm of praise to God.” That could donrrrt you have been easy. One easy strategy to integrate prayer using your lifestyle is to set a particular some time and location to do it daily. Put it on your calendar. Add it to your iPhone or Google Calendar reminder and treat it like all other appointment that you’d make. This helps making it a unique course of action and not just a thought or idea at the rear of your brain.
The idea of letting go would be to release your ego’s grip on some dream or your ego’s idea that it can be in charge of your health as well as your success. The ego is here to keep you grounded in earth-time. Give thanks for your ego, but it really is not you. The Universal Law of Divine Oneness says that you are not only a creature of earth.
Young Christians are reminded that “we have this treasure in jars of clay to demonstrate until this all-surpassing power comes from God instead of from us” (2 Cor. 4:7). We are made to strive for perfection; “Be perfect, therefore, because your heavenly Father is perfect.” (Matthew 5:48) But we have been reminded that individuals can’t ever reach the absolute perfection that belongs just to a Holy God. “For my thoughts are not your opinions, neither are the ways my ways,” declares the LORD. (Isaiah 55:8)
