Storyline:
Remake about the murderous doll Chucky, equipped with modernster technology that enables the neighborhood in fear and terror. Andy Barclay (Gabriel Bateman) is a 13-year-old boy who struggles to find a connection and, above all, make new friends after leaving school. For his birthday, his single mother Karen (Aubrey Plaza) gives him a popular toy doll, called “Buddi Doll” The technology group Kaslan. The doll, which is equipped with the latest technical gadgets and can also be operated by smart phone and tablet, quickly develops a dark life of its own and turns out to be anything but a new best friend. When Andy tries to alert his mother and other adults to the dangerous doll, nobody believes him. Meanwhile, Detective Mike Norris (Brian Tyree Henry) tries to solve a series of mysterious murder cases in the vicinity. Can a doll really be behind all these atrocities?
The murderous doll Chucky is back! In the remake of the original horror cult film of 1988, the doll goes back to deadly wandering around the neighborhood.
