Vegetable Soup Recipe – A simple Mushroom Soup

500g (1lb mushrooms)

One garlic clove

Two chopped onions

90g (3oz) butter

Two tablespoons of flour

1 litre (1 & a half pints) chicken stock

Half a cup cream

1 bay leaf

One sprig of thyme
