Good dental care starts off with your own efforts to maintain an appropriate regimen of tooth hygiene.
It’s recommended that, at a minimum, you follow these practices daily:
You should also see your dentist on a frequent basis for exams and cleanings. Getting good dentistry care is often a serious obstacle for so many of us in the US that are unemployed, have insufficient income or perhaps have no dental strategy from an employer.
Sadly, probably the hardest hit during these difficult economic times are children. Cavities in preschoolers are in place for the first time in 50 years!
In Minnesota, dentists & hygienists are giving free care to thousands of children who do not have insurance. The system is called “Give Kid’s a Smile”. In Connecticut, there’s an organization known as “Connecticut Mission of Mercy” providing free dental hygiene to children and adults. In South Bend, Indiana, the IUSB Dental Hygiene Clinic gives a totally free sealant hospital for kids ages six to 14. The list goes on and I can’t perhaps cover all of the free services offered throughout the country in the range of this post. It is enough, for the purposes of ours here, to allow you to conscious that these free solutions are around and dentitox.com (visit my web page) encourage you to browse your local paper, the Internet and other assets to ferret out these opportunities.
