And over all that, they tend to trade for a cheap price to the A and B class buildings in the city’s downtown core.
Exactly why wouldn’t everyone would like to rent such space for business?
Top Reasons Not to Rent©2!©Space
Acoustics
Unless you are at the top floor, there is a constant buzz of individuals above you walking and צימר providing you a gentle stream of creeking sounds all day every day when you are in a commercial loft space.
Much better not annoying to start with, after getting spent a 5 year lease with fast walkers, heavy walkers, ladies high heel sandals and rolling chairs twelve feet above your mind all day every day, you could much like the acoustic barrier modern concrete buildings offer.
What on earth is more is that often a standard workplace is designed with a dropped, T-bar ceiling, that provides better sound attenuation. Such sound baffling tiles are normally not that can be found in loft style buildings.
HVAC in©5!©Buildings
While HVAC units can get replaced, brick and beam buildings are only a tad too hot in the summer and freezing from the winter. Conventional buildings get their challenges also, but old, commercial loft spaces are simply worse. Some have outdated HVAC systems, but your house is at an obstacle to modern buildings as a result of your building envelope.
Views
We have a relationship between age the structure and צימרים the volume of floors.
Older buildings were built smaller when there seemed to be not as much a workplace demand. There is also more land available, and most of the buildings were built with an industrial use. So they really are often lower to the floor, and most of them have a very “Manhattan view” – another building is immediately adjacent. Traditional towers that rise high in the sky normally have more unobstructed views and set backs.
